Why are you sponsoring the Corporate Social Responsibility
category? Mondelēz International is one of the world’s largest snack manufacturers. A big part of our ambition is creating sustainable, mindful snacking, creating a future where people and the planet thrive by creating resilient ingredient supply chains, with programmes such as Cocoa Life and Harmony, reducing environmental impact and developing zero-net waste packaging. Why should the industry get involved by entering, voting
and attending? The vending industry is a community and we have great respect for the roles we all play in driving and adding value in the sector. The Vendies is a great vehicle to have a voice for and in the industry.
The Vendies aims to reward innovative new products and systems, but just how are snacks and confectionery products
evolving in the vending sector? Consumer needs are changing. Convenience is critical as consumers lives are increasingly busy, so vending is right on the point. Some consumers are looking for new attributes such as protein, less sugar, added vitamins, authenticity or portion control, but critically consumers value great-tasting products and that doesn’t change.
What does Mondelēz have to offer its vending customers and
what is to come from the company? Mondelēz is a leading supplier of snacks that are right for consumers, made for the right moment, in the right way. Having a deep understanding of consumers is fundamental to our offer and helps us ensure our products are both delicious and relevant.
