hile smart technology has primarily been associated with
MDA (major domestic appliances), there is a growing expectation for its integration into SDA products as well. This presents an exciting opportunity to enhance the functionality and convenience of SDA offerings, ultimately improving the overall consumer experience. I think it’s safe to say that tech will continue to grow in interest for consumers when looking at small domestic appliances.
Connected appliances Connected appliances will only begin to rise in popularity as more and more consumers start to see the huge benefits of owning smart appliances and how their lives can be made easier by owning one. Our Siemens EQ900 coffee machines are a great example of this, the Home Connect capabilities allow you to operate the machine by voice command, or remotely via a smartphone or tablet so you can do things preheat your machine on your way home and make drink from around the world. These features mean that it’s never been easier to make barista style coffees at home.

great addition to any household, providing up to 40 minutes of runtime on a single battery charge. With the Power For All battery, you can use the same battery on various other Bosch 18V power and gardening tools, making it even more versatile and eliminating the need for multiple batteries. The Unlimited 7 cordless vacuum cleaner also features an AutoDetect function that automatically adjusts the power level based on the floor type for optimal cleaning results. Whether it’s tiles, carpets, or hardwood, you can effortlessly clean different
types of floors without manually adjusting the settings. Additionally, the cleaner is equipped with innovations like the Flex Tube, allowing it to bend and clean under low furniture, making it easier to reach those hard-to-clean areas. Another existing smart feature that deserves
attention is AutoDetect. This feature intelligently adjusts the vacuum power based on the type of flooring, maximizing cleaning efficiency while preserving battery life. With this innovative technology, users can save time and effort while ensuring that each cleaning session is tailored to their specific needs. With Auto Detect, consumers can trust that their SDA products are always working at their best, delivering exceptional results on any surface.
