ASKO UK makes two new senior appointments


P


remium Scandinavian appliance brand, ASKO, has started 2024 on the


front foot as it announces two new senior appointments to its team. Jag Sandhu joins as ERT national account manager, whilst Michael Hardwick, formerly head of sales, has been promoted to business director. Both appointments come as the brand looks to further grow sales and continue to develop brand awareness within the UK premium appliance market. As ERT national account manager, Sandhu will


be responsible for managing existing accounts in electrical retail, as well as developing new retail partnerships to further push ASKO’s presence in key showrooms across the UK. He will also be supporting the team in developing the brand through diff erent campaign and showroom activities. Commenting on his


move, he said: “It’s not every day an opportunity to work for a global brand comes around, especially that of a premium brand like ASKO. I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the team, and excited to be part of the growth and development of the brand in the UK. I can’t wait to get started and work alongside our retail partners, building those strong relationships and producing great results.” In Hardwick’s new role as business director, he will be responsible for leading the brand as it seeks to establish itself as a trusted and credible appliance brand in a growing network of premium electrical retailers and kitchen showrooms. His role will also focus on building a dedicated sales and management team, whilst working closely with retailers to support the development of the brand in the UK market.


Ultimate Products hires new CEO U


ltimate Products founder and CEO Simon Showman has stepped down.


Aſt er founding the Greater Manchester- based listed company in 1997, he will be succeeded by Andrew Gossage. Gossage has now stepped into the role of


CEO, with Showman remaining on the board as chief commercial offi cer. Gossage joined Ultimate Products in 2005, initially as fi nance director before being promoted to managing director in 2014. Since then, he has been responsible for the group’s strategy as well as overseeing its operational functions and online business. The new CEO is a chartered accountant and started his career with Arthur Andersen, after which he was the fi nance director and
