Big Red founder John Reddington said: “We have run some very successful window/in-store display competitions in the past for our brands. We feel that the Revo range is perfect for such a promotion because it makes such a fantastic gift or impulse buy. “We are confident that the competition will result in more exposure for

the Revo brand and an increase in sales for our retailers. Plus, the bonus of top prizes for the best displays. It’s a win-win situation.” The competition will run for the months of October and November, with the winning retailers being notified by the end of December 2018. Leisure launches range cooker cashback promotion for peak season


ange cooker brand Leisure is set to launch a peak cashback incentive. The 19-week promotion starts from September 13 2018 and finishes on January 23 2019. It presents shoppers with the chance to claim up to £250 cashback across selected Leisure 90cm, 100cm and 110cm range cookers. Beko plc Leisure brand manager Gino Grossi commented: “We’re pleased to be launching another peak cashback promotion with increased amounts and for an extended time of 19 weeks to further support retailers. Miele GB appoints new managing director

subsidiary with immediate effect, succeeding Simon Grantham who leſt the business earlier this year. John brings a wealth of leadership and sales experience to Miele,

having spent the last eight years at the blue-chip FMCG business Mars. His last position there was as general manager for Mars Ireland, responsible for all brand categories and aspects of the Dublin-based operation, with achievements in business performance, customer focus and employee engagement. Miele regional managing director for north-west Europe Noël Smets commented: “John has a proven track record in achieving sustainable, quality business growth built through leading strong engaged teams. He is used to working for a family business and shares many of the Miele values around employee engagement, exemplary customer service, integrity and quality.
