Annually we meet with colleagues, old friends and new, to celebrate and recognise the achievements of many at the IER Awards in London.
T
his year is no exception as we have again recognised the hard work and
achievements of the independent retailers and their employees, the manufacturers who produce innovative products, plus their employees, the distributors who are vital in the selling chain, the valuable service companies to assist one and all within the concept of the electrical retailing business from a production to consumer
use, to the final recycle organisations, plus other important achievements and well deserved recognitions. There is, however, an ULTIMATE AWARD.
Following in the footsteps of many over more than three decades, deserving the recognition of their valuable contributions to our industry, after a brief history of introduction to this year’s winner of the Contribution to the Industry Award, Linda Dorling welcomed
to the stage, Stefan Hay, CEO of AMDEA, the Ultimate Award sponsors, to proudly announce and reveal the Ultimate Winner at these 34th IER Awards. With rapturous applause to congratulate,
Teresa Arbuckle, Managing Director and Executive Vice President UK & Ireland for BEKO Europe received her well-deserved, prestigious accolade. It was an understatement to say Teresa was overwhelmed. CONGRATULATIONS.
