CEF marks anniversary with food bank donation; achieves ISO 19443

ity Electrical Factors (CEF)’s 75th anniversary celebrations brought together team members from across the business, customers and suppliers to give back to food banks and communities across the UK.


The nationwide community food drive has donated nearly 30 tonnes of essential goods to food banks across the UK, with CEF branches and other areas of the business become donation points for their local food banks. In total, the donations weighed the equivalent of 13 unladen CEF vans, or enough to fi ll around 30 CEF van loads.


In other CEF news, the company has achieved ISO 19443 certifi cation, marking an important milestone in its commitment to quality, traceability and operational excellence within the nuclear supply chain.


ISO 19443 is the quality management standard for organisations supplying products and services important to nuclear safety (ITNS). Building on the principles of ISO 9001, the standard introduces additional requirements focused on


nuclear safety culture, risk management, supplier oversight, product traceability and continual improvement. As a trusted distributor to the


nuclear industry, CEF plays an important role in supporting customers with a secure, controlled and fully-traceable supply chain.
