ince its launch in 2014 by publisher, Datateam Business Media, the Electrical Wholesaler Awards has
established itself as a platform to celebrate and recognise excellence and achievement across the electrical wholesaling sector. This year, the Electrical Wholesaler Awards will
take place at the stunning Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London on Thursday 21 May 2020. We’ve unveiled a number of new categories
for the 2020 ceremony, created to allow wholesalers themselves more of a say in our decision-making process. And, as always, entering the Electrical Wholesaler Awards is quick, easy and free. Simply submit your examples of excellence using the online form at:

WHOLESALER AWARDS
Best Wholesaler: Sole Branch This category is open to any electrical wholesale company that operates within the UK and Ireland and has just one sole branch. Judges will consider the following: the diversity and innovation in the product range stocked; any evidence of great customer service and any measures/initiatives that have been put in place to deal with business and/or industry challenges.
Best Wholesaler: 2-5 branches This category is open to any electrical wholesale company with 2-5 branches that operate within the UK and Ireland. Judges will consider the following: the diversity and innovation in the product range stocked across all branches; any evidence of great customer service and any measures/initiatives that have been put in place to deal with business and/or industry challenges.
Best Wholesaler: 6-25 branches This category is open to any electrical wholesale company with 6-25 branches that operate within the UK and Ireland. Judges will consider the following: the diversity and innovation in the product range stocked across all branches; any evidence of great customer service and any

Best Wholesaler: 26+ branches This category is open to any electrical wholesale company with more than 26 branches that operate within the UK and Ireland. Judges will consider the following: the diversity and innovation in the product range stocked across all branches; any evidence of great customer service and any measures/initiatives that have been put in place to deal with business and/or industry challenges.
Best Individual Branch This accolade will be won by the very best individual branch of any electrical wholesale company. Judges will consider the following: how the branch manages to stand out from the rest; the diversity and innovation in the product range stocked; any evidence of great customer service and any measures/initiatives that have been put in place to deal with business and/or industry challenges..
Best Wholesaler Website This category is open to any electrical wholesale companies with an outstanding website that offers a wide product range, quick & reliable delivery and outstanding customer service.
BRAND CATEGORIES
Best Accessories Brand Awarded to the very best accessories brand that manufactures products that are available to purchase through electrical wholesalers, including by not limited to wiring, sockets, plugs etc.
Best Lighting Brand Awarded to the very best lighting brand that manufactures external & internal lighting products, lamps, occasion lighting etc. that are available to purchase through electrical wholesalers.
Best Heating Brand Awarded to the very best heating brand that manufactures indoors & outdoor heating products, radiators, fireplaces etc, available to purchase through electrical wholesalers.
Best Safety/Security Brand Awarded to the very best safety/security brand that manufacturers products including, but not limited to, fire protection products, detectors, doorbells, alarms and CCTV etc, available to purchase through electrical wholesalers.
Best Overall Brand Awarded the very best brand offering innovative products and technologies available to purchase through electrical wholesalers, with a track record of outstanding service.
Best Customer Service: Brand Awarded to a brand that has demonstrated outstanding customer service and commitment to going the extra mile.
Best New Product Awarded for the very best overall product launched between January 2019 and January 2020 that is available to purchase through electrical wholesalers.
INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES
Industry Icon The Industry Icon accolade will be bestowed upon an individual that has played a significant role in and demonstrated passion and commitment to, the electrical wholesaling industry. Both manufacturers/suppliers and wholesalers can nominate an individual to win this award.
An independent panel of industry experts will
convene in February to decide the winner of this prestigious accolade.
