Plans for the future


Dietzel Univolt continues to strengthen its presence within the UK, launching new and innovative products, expanding the team and developing its customer base. David Mattin, Managing Director at Dietzel Univolt (pictured) discusses what’s ahead for the specialist cable containment company.

ietzel-Univolt is an incredibly well-established company that enjoys a global presence having launched in 1938. We’ve been operating in the UK for many years and are


keen to build on these solid foundations, expanding our reach and working with new customers to deliver a full cable containment solution. In order to achieve this, we recognise the need to build and strengthen


our team. Getting the right people on board, with a strong knowledge and understanding of the industry, has been challenging but we’ve recently made some exciting and important appointments. These include new National Business Development Manager, Steve Davis, as well as Area Sales Managers, Natasha Merreywether and Dean Hopkinson Steve brings a wealth of experience to his role having worked within the industry at senior level for over 25 years. Steve was formerly National Business Development Manager with Marco Cable Management and prior to this spent 18 years working with Schneider/Mita and three years within the structured cabling industry with Molex Premise Networks. Natasha and Dean have also both worked within the industry and are incredibly well connected, owning an extensive understanding of the sector. Steve is a well-respected figure within our industry who has a huge


level of knowledge and understanding of the market, as do Natasha and Dean who I’m sure will both prove to be huge assets to Univolt. The niche cable containment industry continues to be driven by the
