Electro-wind technology transforms trailer loading

Scolmore adds fire rated LED

downlight to Inceptor range Scolmore has added a fire rated version to its popular Inceptor Pico LED range. Inceptor Pico was designed to provide a lower cost lighting solution for applications not requiring a

fire-rated fitting. Now, in response to demand, the new Inceptor Pico FG fire rated fixed integrated LED downlight is ideal for installations where the void depth is limited and fire rating is required. As well a fire rating of 30, 60 and 90 minutes, Pico FG comes with a pre-attached fly lead to make installation easier and quicker. And it’s compatible with Scolmore’s new Insulation Support Clip, which allows installers to lay thermal insulation directly over the Inceptor Pico. With its 50mm profile, Inceptor Pico FG is ideal for installations where the void depth is limited and it has an adaptable cut-out to fit apertures of between 70mm and 75mm diameter. The height of the spring brackets has been increased to allow the product to be installed in ceiling thicknesses of 36mm. With an energy rating of A+ and an L70 LED lifetime of 20,000 hours, the Inceptor Pico FG requires zero maintenance and offers low energy consumption. Available in a dimmable option as standard, the Pico FG can be easily switched or dimmed using a variety of methods.

Electro-wind‘s DC power supply units provide the power required to a trailer’s moving deck lift, tail lift and internal lighting when unaccompanied by a tractor unit for loading and unloading. Due to the phenomenal growth of the

e-commerce business, companies are expanding their fleet and warehouse capacity. Their environment impact and carbon footprint can be reduced by the use of a bespoke DC power supply. The units have no recharging down time, plugged directly into the mains – whether working in maintenance and service departments or large logistics centre. These units can be produced to customers’ particular requirements. All Electro-wind's 24VDC units are designed and manufactured in the company’s UK workshops, which promotes short lead times and greater flexibility.

Units can be manufactured to supply single or multiple bays. Power supply accessories and spares, including DC extension leads, connectors and junction boxes, are also available.

Red Arrow has added two new wattages to its LED Linear Hi-Lo Bays range, which now comes in power outputs of 60W, 100W, 150W and 250W. Red Arrow has also added a Hanging Bracket and

Remote Control for the Microwave Sensor. This range offers a high power LED output of 130lm/W making it very energy efficient, with quick pay back. The Meanwell Driver offers reliability and quality assurance. The Hi-Lo Bay is equipped with 1-10V dimming drivers, which enable dimming and control to individual requirements. emergency version, which saves time on installation and the cost of separate emergency lighting.

The LED Linear Hi-Lo Bays have a five-year guarantee and 50,000 hours life expectancy. The range has a working temperature of -30°C to 50°C meaning it can operate in extreme temperatures and can be used in refrigeration and cold stores. The range can also be suspended, wall or ceiling mounted.

This range includes a Daylight and Motion Sensor Accessory which adapts to the changing available ambient light. The polycarbonate lens makes this fitting suitable for food preparation areas and the clear diffuser gives maximum light output for

improved efficiency. An opaque diffuser is available to reduce the glare, which is ideal in retail environments.
