Electrorad launches progammable towel rails

Scolmore introduces dual mode

LED dimmer Flickering and poor dimming range are well- documented when it comes to LED dimmers. Now Scolmore has launched an intelligent dimmer module that eliminates flickering, is easier to control, and is essentially two dimmers in one – offering maximum compatibility. With leading or trailing edge dimming mode options – installers can choose the mode that works most effectively with the LED lights they are using. By incorporating a minimum brightness setting, the new Dual Mode Dimmer Module allows the minimum brightness to be adjusted, so that flicker at the bottom end of the dimming range can be trimmed out. Some LED dimmers can be complicated to install, especially when changing settings such as dimming mode and minimum brightness – sometimes requiring installers to perform a specific switching sequence using the dimmer knob. Scolmore has made this much easier by positioning two small switches on the back of the module. Switch 1 allows the minimum brightness to be adjusted; switch 2 allows the dimming module to be

A new, luxurious range of high quality steel towel rails from Electrorad is guaranteed to bring warmth to smaller rooms and bathrooms with their array of controls and intelligent energy saving features. Available in 400W and 700W heat outputs, and with a choice of white or chrome finish, these straight rung ladder towel rails also feature digital programmable controls, enabling users to create weekly programmes specific for each day of the week. Featuring an LCD screen, discretely located on the base of the rail, control options include: automatic, comfort, night, antifreeze, key lock and even a two-hour boost. An infra-red remote control option is also available. Both rails also have an advanced ambient

room sensor, enabling the towel rail to accurately sense the room temperature as well as the rail itself, allowing users to adjust the heat setting accordingly, or move the towels to provide more heat to the room. Richard Brown, Managing Director at

Electrorad, said: “We are delighted to launch this range of towel rails that incorporate some of the advanced technology and energy saving features found on our best-selling radiators. Whilst the ultimate aim of a towel rail is to warm towels, the ambient room sensor means that the room also gets to benefit from the heat.”

adjusted. The Dual Mode Dimmer Module also includes electronic thermal overload protection. The small size of the new dimmer module means they can be placed above/below each other on multi-tier plates. They will fit into 25mm back boxes (on raised plates) and into 35mm back boxes (on flat plates).
