the Hex-Box IoT enclosure breaks away from the standard rectangular and square enclosures that flood the market today. The electronics industry is often stigmatised by the large environmental impacts that it causes, from plastic manufacturing to the somewhat difficult end of life recycling. As a manufacturer of electronic enclosures, we and many others owe it to future generations, that processes are put into motion that will help reduce the eye-watering numbers from the waste of electricals and electronic equipment. It is important that we look at the product lifecycle including; how we manufacture, how will the enclosure be discarded after use, the materials we use, packaging and much more. The combination of all these aspects will help us meet net zero targets by 2050 and move towards a greener future for all. With this in mind, the environmentally conscious and aesthetic pleasing Hex-Box IoT enclosure has raised the bar for industrial, commercial and domestic IoT solutions, with a host of unique and market-defining features that will aid in the design of new technologies. Inspired by nature, the unconventional hexagon shape provides a six-sided housing, with all sides featuring fully removable panels that, once placed in position, are self-retaining. This therefore eradicates any awkward assembly that is often encountered with enclosures that have removable panels. Not only does this feature benefit the assembly of the product
on the production line, but it also provides huge advantages for customisation. The Hex-Box IoT enclosure also utilises a concealed cable management
system to the rear of the enclosure, allowing cables to be inserted without compromising the aesthetics of the housing.
With a choice of solid or vented self- retaining side panels, you can mix and match the panels to suit your air flow requirements. Good enclosure ventilation allows the free circulation of cool air into the enclosure whilst warmer air that is generated inside the enclosure can escape.
