Categories


There are three different types of awards up for grabs – Product, Business and Individual Awards. The Product Awards are: Aerospace/ Military/Defence Product of the Year, Automotive Product of the Year, Display Product of the Year, Enclosure Product of the Year, Embedded Solution Product of the Year, Engineering Development/Design Tool of the Year, Interconnection Product of the Year, Internet of Things Product of the Year, Medical Product of the Year, Power Product of the Year, Semiconductor Product of the Year and, finally, Test, Measurement & Inspection Product of the Year.


The Business Awards are: Academic Support, Best Customer Service, Distributor of the Year, Electronics Manufacturer of the Year, Excellence in Innovation and Most Outstanding PR Agency.

Award ceremony


We will celebrate all the hard work, dedication and innovation from our illustrious sector at a fabulous award ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London on 27th October. This year’s event


The Individual Awards are: Industry Personality and Rising Star. The Industry Personality Award is designed to recognise an individual that plays a significant part in the success of the electronics industry. The winner of this category will have made continuous contributions to the sector, boosted their company’s profile and worked closely with their customers and suppliers. The Rising Star Award recognises and celebrates an exceptional individual who is a relative newcomer to the industry but whom has already made a demonstrable difference within their organisation and/or within their field of expertise.


Expert judging panel


Following on from the success of previous judging panels, we have decided to include contributory scores from an extended group of industry insiders to help decide the Product and Individual Awards. Between them they hold a vast range of knowledge and experience, and we’re extremely grateful for their time and expertise. Their results will combine with the online industry vote but the Business Awards choice remains solely in the hands of the public.
