AILU ANNUAL JOB SHOP BUSINESS MEETING, NOVEMBER 2025


November's meeting at TRUMPF in Luton gathered UK laser subcontractors and their supply chain for a full day of practical talks and peer networking. The agenda tackled core business challenges reflecting the realities of running a job shop in today’s climate where electricity costs, taxes and metal prices are major pressures on margins.


Although many members attend annually, about half of


the AILU Member Job Shop community haven’t been back for over two years – this meeting was an ideal chance to reconnect and benchmark performance. If you missed it, make sure to look out for the 2026 meeting in November.
