Glazpart leads the way in the design and manufacture of plastic glazing accessories. Their team approached Fimark looking to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their window surrounds by adding a lifelike, wood grain texture.


To achieve a natural, realistic appearance Fimark began by scanning a real wood grain sample to capture its intricate details digitally. Using its advanced 5-axis laser texturing technology Fimark then precisely replicated this pattern onto


one of Glazpart's existing mould tools ensuring the texture seamlessly transferred onto the material. This approach provided a durable, wear- resistant solution that eliminated the need for overlays or printed films and offered the client an authentic wood grain finish that elevated their product line.


This collaboration exemplifies how advanced laser texturing can solve practical challenges in the manufacturing process whilst delivering superior aesthetics.
