Make this year’s party an event to remember
Planning for the Christmas party season means diff erent things to diff erent people – and the McManus Pub Company and its events company MPG Events present options that work for everyone from party organisers to individuals looking to celebrate in style. McManus pubs have been at the heart of local communities for
more than 50 years, distinctive venues across Northamptonshire that range from traditional pubs through to sports bars and vibrant late-night venues. As it prepares for the festive season, McManus Pub Company
is planning a full programme of Christmas menus, party nights, private booking options and fun events so that everyone can fi nd the ideal way to celebrate. T e McManus Pub Company joiner nights are ideal for small
groups that want to be part of a big night out. Joiner nights will be held at T e Brampton Halt on December 10 including a three- course dinner and DJ, and on December 11 including a party buff et, DJ and drinks. Joiner nights with the buff et, DJ and drink will also be held at the T omas A Becket in Northampton on December 11, 12 and 13, and there will be a party buff et, DJ and cocktails night at Shipmans in Northampton on December 18.
T e Wig and Pen on St Giles Street in Northampton has a range
of music nights scheduled for December starting with 2HD at 9pm on Friday December 5 right through to the Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve parties with the resident DJ. Barratts Sports Bar in Kingsthorpe gets the party started on the
November 28 and 29 with the resident DJ and events throughout the run-up to Christmas include Disco Bingo on December 11 and 18, Nightshift on December 6, Six Feet Apart on December 13 and One Night Stand on December 19. For something a little quieter, a Christmas Fayre Menu will be
available across all the pubs from November 21 to December 24 off ering three courses for £38. At T e Sun Inn at Hardingstone, the pub’s function room, with
a private bar, exclusive marquee and excellent music system is available for private parties. T e pub’s Christmas Party Packages off er either a three-course dinner for groups of more than 25 at £38 per person, or a Christmas Party Buff et at £25 per person for a minimum of 20 guests. T e packages include a Christmas-themed function space and novelties, and festive add-ons such as a DJ and entertainment are available.
