Northamptonshire Logistics Awards
Sector gathers for an evening to remember
As a celebration of the specialist knowledge, experience and innovation within the county, the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards have grown into one of the biggest annual celebrations of the logistics, warehousing and distribution sector. Founded in 2016, the awards have gained a reputation as much
for hard-fought category wins between some of the biggest names in the business, as for how they recognise and celebrate the smaller companies and individuals that help keep goods moving effi ciently across the county, across the country, and across the world. T e fi rst awards, which were held at the John Lewis Warehouse
on Grange Park, Northampton, had 24 fi nalists. T is year’s awards ceremony will be held at the Mercure Northampton Hotel on September 26, where 48 fi nalists in 11 categories will await the announcement of the winners of the 2025 Northamptonshire Logistics Awards. Hiten Patel, from previous winners HSP Couriers, said: “Winning
Small Business of the Year is a signifi cant achievement for HSP Couriers, and we are incredibly proud of this recognition. We look forward to building on this success and continue to deliver the high standards our customers expect.” Among the fi nalists this year are Decathlon, DHL Kettering NDC,
DSV and Yusen Logistics in the Big Logistics Company of the Year award, sponsored by Woodfi nes Solicitors. DHL Kettering NDC and DSV will also compete for the Team of the Year award in which they will be up against GXO Talent Acquisition Team, Pegasus Lift Truck Training and TruckEast. T e awards also recognise actions within the industry that focus on the safety, inclusion and wellbeing of those working within it. In

Awards organiser Charlotte Patrick, said: “What started as an
idea to recognise a sector that is so important to this part of the country has grown into something that is attracting entries from some of the biggest names in the world of logistics. “Over the years, more than 300 fi nalists – companies, teams
and individuals – have been fi nalists in these awards and they’ve become a fi rm fi xture on the logistics sector calendar. We’d love to see as many people as possible turn out to celebrate with us, and recognise the fantastic achievements of this area, so if you want to play your part in paying tribute to our logistics community, come and join us.” A full list of all the fi nalists can be found on the Northamptonshire
Logistics Awards website, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Mercure Northampton Hotel on Friday, September 26. MHA is once again the headline sponsor and category sponsors
