Miles Barnes
Miles Barnes has been named as a new Partner at law fi rm Howes Percival.
Commercial specialist Miles advises businesses on a range of commercial matters from day-to-day trading agreements through to complex procurement and outsourcing projects. Based in Northampton, he has a broad range of transactional experience having supported clients on acquisitions, joint ventures, brand extensions and reorganisations. Miles has been recognised as a Rising Star in the Legal 500 and began his career as a trainee at Howes Percival.
Sarah-Jane Hurn
Sarah-Jane Hurn has joined Excel Drainage Limited as Operations Manager.
The Northampton-based company provides solutions to drainage issues including clearance, maintenance, CCTV drain surveying, relining, patching and civil engineering, using the latest technology and equipment. Sarah-Jane joins this young dynamic company to head up its
operational division and introduce processes and procedures to allow for continued growth.
Ethan Malvern
Ethan Malvern has been appointed to the board of directors at 3RS IT Solutions in Wellingborough.
Ethan joined the company as a 16-year-old apprentice, working his way up to Services Operations Manager and now, aged just 19, he has become one of the youngest company directors in the UK. His appointment marks the start of an important chapter for
3RS IT, which now has sites in Wellingborough and Nottingham and has plans for further growth, including the opening of a new offi ce in Wellingborough this month.
Chris Langsford
Chris Langsford has joined Northampton Town FC as Commercial Development Lead.
Chris arrived at Sixfi elds from the Northampton Town Centre Hotel, where he was Sales Manager, as the club announced its line-up for the EFL League One campaign 2024/25, and prepared for the completion of the East Stand. “It was a fairly easy decision for me to change careers knowing
where Northampton Town FC is going on and off the pitch. I’m very excited because there’s really no better time to get involved within the club either on a principle or offi cial partnership.” T e Cobblers Business Club will launch on July 31. Contact Chris at
