Hawsons

Reputation that’s spreading across the globe

At Hawsons, we are proud of our growth over previous years. As an organisation, our heavy involvement as a member fi rm of HLB International, and our active contribution to the community as well as investment in staff and clients has made us a well-established, adaptable fi rm of accountants. HLB International is a global network that recently celebrated moving up

to eighth in the International Accounting Global ranking. HLB broke into the top 10 back in 2022 but with their progress since and revenue increase of 23% in 2023, they have now made eighth place. Despite the global economic challenges they have faced, the network

continues to grow and develop, demonstrating commitment and dedi- cation to providing clients with the highest service and standards, which Hawsons are proud to be a part of.

Do you wonder where we are in the community? Not only do we work with clients locally, you will see us spreading ourselves around the world. Our involvement with HLB International, a network of independent accountancy and advisory fi rms, gives us the opportunity to work closely with fellow member fi rms as well as off ering an international presence and providing expertise for global projects. We have, in the last few weeks, provided services for clients in LA,

Geneva, Dubai, Florida, Lisbon, France, Turkey, Holland, Colorado and the list goes on. We also keep in touch with member firms and our contacts through visiting countries like Japan, Belgium, Dubai, Spain and Italy.

How we can help you make the next move? If you’re interested in moving abroad or moving your business, contact us. We can walk you through tax implications, paperwork and support you with successful advice or put you in touch with a professional abroad to help with international elements. We not only provide international services, we provide a robust range of accountancy and advisory services.

How have we grown? With the increase in enquiries, expansion of the team in all three offi ces and the fi rm adapting and overcoming challenges under diffi cult economic circumstances, we are proud that Hawsons have continued to grow and remain a deep- rooted, respectable fi rm of professionals. All of the above translates through a signifi cant increase in fee income over 2023 across the fi rm. Hawsons is 170 years old on December 12, 2024, and will be celebrating as a fi rm and with our clients and contacts. Over the last few years we have integrated our core values throughout the fi rm and started to create our purpose statement which will be published summer this year. We are looking to promote our vision, values and purpose, a key asset to the fi rm’s continuous growth. As well as integrating our values, the

development of the team is important to the fi rm and having a progressive working culture ensures we continue to support our staff throughout their careers. We are a training fi rm that takes on graduates and school leavers annually and we are proud to say that many of the trainees stay on with us after their studies. We look forward to continuing to

provide a premium service to our clients and maintaining relationships with our professional contacts.
