For Frederic, 2024 was a year filled with miles- tones. “To be honest, I think that 2024 was really one of my most exciting years. There was so much going on with new performances on Glitch Festival main stage or several other festivals,” he shares. Collaborations and releases with friends further enriched the year.
Touring with MCR-T and performing back-to- back sets with artists like Caiva, Nastaran, Car- men Electro, and Trancemaster Krause brought new dimensions to his sound. These experiences reinforced Frederic’s passion for music and moti- vated him to continue pursuing his craft.
PREPARING FOR 2025: TOURING AND FESTIVALS
Frederic’s 2025 schedule includes performan- ces at major festivals like Blackworks, HIVE, and Glitch. His approach to preparing for these events is refreshingly unstructured.
“I usually just dig music for all scenarios and then go with the flow. I don’t plan my sets. Also not when streamed,” he reveals. This spontaneity allows him to adapt to the unique energy of each event.
When asked about his most anticipated perfor- mances, Frederic expresses excitement for his re- turn to Glitch’s Boiler Room stage and his debut at Wake Up festival. These opportunities repre- sent the culmination of years of hard work and artistic growth.
Techno’s constant evolution excites Frederic, par- ticularly the growing popularity of groovy and truancy subgenres.
“Hard Techno will still have its place, but I think the new generation will be open to new horizons,” he predicts. Frederic’s sound, which balances proper techno with trancy vibes, is well-positioned to thrive in this landscape.
