From this unexpected success, Jazzy embarked on a journey of relentless self-improvement and self-disco- very. Her growth wasn’t limited to her technical skills but extended to her mindset and emotional maturi- ty. She attributes much of her transformation to the power of visualization and affirmations.

*”I feel like I’ve grown a lot, both mentally and socia- lly. I’ve become much calmer. I don’t feel like I need a beer at every gig before going on stage anymore, even though I still enjoy it. What stood out to me during this journey was how much my mindset shaped my success. For two years, I wrote in my journal every day: ‘I am a successful DJ/Producer.’”

However, the road to success wasn’t without its hurd- les. Jazzy’s openness about her struggles with body image and the bullying she faced as a teenager sheds light on the deeply personal challenges she’s overcome. Her resilience in the face of these experiences is both inspiring and heartwarming.

”Back in school, I was teased for some time and called names like ‘sausage legs,’ ‘pig nose,’ and ‘manly eye- brows.’ Body shaming shaped who I am today and tau- ght me not to let hate bring me down, even though I still face a lot of it. After being called ‘sausage legs,’ I lost 13 kilos right when I started my apprenticeship, going from 65 to 47, and became anorexic. I’m still working on hea- ling from that—trying to build up muscles and focusing on eating better, especially when I stay active. Body shaming is unnecessary and harmful, and I want to say that: never hurt on purpose. We rise by lifting others. Keep your head up and your heart strong.”

Jazzy’s courage to share such personal aspects of her life is a testament to her strength and authenticity as an artist. Her journey reminds us that success is ra- rely a straight path—it’s shaped by the challenges we face, the mindset we adopt, and the determination to rise above adversity. Through it all, Jazzy has not only found her voice but also become a beacon of em- powerment for her fans and peers alike.
