Finally, Wakyin reflects on the lessons learned from his early days as a teacher and aspiring artist, and how they continue to shape who he is today.
“Looking back, I would tell the teacher/coach/aspiring artist version of myself to keep putting in the hours and trusting the process. Sacrifices may feel difficult to take in the moment, but they’re an investment in creating the time and space needed to fully pursue your passion.” These words offer a reminder that the journey is long and filled with challenges, but every step brings you closer to realizing your true potential. Wakyin’s story is one of transformation, authenticity, and perseverance. As he prepares for his upcoming re- leases and collaborations in 2025, there’s no doubt that his music will continue to inspire and evolve, drawing from both his roots and his ever-expanding musical horizons.
