hadn’t before. Performing while pregnant added a who- le new level of meaning to every set especially before everyone knew, it was like I was playing music especia- lly for my son. But I think it became even more reflecti- ve when I was showing, and everyone knew, to see how excited everyone was for me and would dance around the booth with me like we were celebrating. One mo- ment that stands out was playing at a festival just as the sun was setting, feeling the energy of the crowd while being so in tune with the changes happening in my own body. It felt like a perfect balance of power and vulnerability.
THE FUTURE AND LEGACY
As you plan for 2025 and beyond, what aspirations or goals do you have for your music career and personal life?
For 2025, I want to continue evolving both as an artist and a person. My little man is due late January and I couldn’t have asked for a more aligned date, to start the year in the most perfect way. Musically, I’m looking to keep krafting my sound, continue collaborating with other artists, and signing new up and coming producers to my label, TREGAMBE. I want to keep pushing boun- daries in ways that feel true to who I am now. Persona- lly, I’m focused on finding a healthy balance between family life and my career, which I think will only enrich my creative output. I also want to use my platform to inspire other women to chase their dreams without compromising who they are. My goal is to continue to break barriers and redefine what it means to be a wo- man in the industry.
What message do you hope to send to other women about redefining possibilities in their careers and lives?
My message to other women is simple: don’t let anyone tell you what you can’t do. You are the writer of your own journey, and there’s no one right way to live your life or have a career. Redefine success on your own ter- ms. Whether it’s balancing motherhood with your ca- reer, exploring new creative avenues, or simply being true to yourself, it’s all possible. Never let fear or socie- tal expectations hold you back from pursuing the life you envision for yourself <3
INDUSTRY AND IMPACT
Do you feel your journey is contributing to shifting conversations around women’s roles in music, especia- lly regarding motherhood?
I feel that my journey is helping to shift the conversa- tion, and although I am not the first I think it’s impor- tant to continue what’s been started. Women in music have always faced the challenge of balancing career and family, but now more than ever, the conversation is changing. My journey is proof that it’s possible to do both, without compromising either.
By sharing my story, I hope to create a space where women can openly discuss the challenges and joys of motherhood in the music industry, without shame or judgment. Im super excited for this next chapter in my life, and to continue to take you all on this journey with me.
What changes would you like to see in the industry to better support female artists balancing family and ca- reer?
I’d love to see this support for women only grow stron- ger.. The industry needs to recognize that motherhood doesn’t diminish a woman’s ability to perform or create. There should be more resources available to help wo- men balance their careers with family life, and more awareness around pregnancy and touring life. It’s about creating an environment where women are supported at every stage of their journey, and the industry sees the value in that balance and female energy.

Your fans look up to you not just as an artist but as a pioneer navigating this unique journey. What message or advice would you like to share with them?
To my fans and everyone, I want to say: thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your support means the world, and I hope my story inspires you to pursue your passions, no matter the challenges. Life’s journey is never linear, but it’s in those twists and turns where we find our greatest strength. Whether you’re chasing a career, raising a family, or just navigating life’s hurdles, remember that you have the power to define your path.
