“Collaborations are all about combining different ener- gies and music visions. Working with people like Malaa and Funk Tribu really pushed me to explore new terri- tory. Combining my own sound with inspiring people like them gives a great refresh to my own sound.”

For ODYMEL, working with other artists is a way to stay inspired and keep his music evolving. The fusion of different styles and ideas allows him to expand his creative boundaries, while also helping him refine his own unique sound.

THE BASEMENT EP: A NEW CHAPTER

With the release of his upcoming EP, The Basement, ODYMEL is set to take another bold step forward in his musical journey. This EP represents a culmination of everything he’s worked towards, blending melody, energy, and emotion into a collection of tracks desig- ned to captivate audiences. As ODYMEL describes:

“This EP feels like a perfect reflection of where I want to take my sound. It’s melodic but still built for the dan- cefloor—designed to make people feel something while keeping them moving. Each track tells a complete mu- sical story, from start to finish. For me, that’s what my music is about: guiding people on a journey and buil- ding to those intense, unforgettable highs.”

The Basement promises to showcase ODYMEL at his most refined, fusing his signature melodic sound with hypnotic rhythms and high-energy drops that are sure to ignite dance floors worldwide.

Despite his rapid rise, ODYMEL remains grounded, con- tinually seeking inspiration from the very club culture that sparked his passion for music.

“I make an effort not to fall into the routine of just going from the hotel to my set and back,” he explains.

“Whenever I can, I’ll check out who’s playing in other rooms at the club or on other stages at a festival. Lis- tening to different sets keeps me inspired and helps my sound keep evolving.”

Staying connected to the community and continually learning from others is essential for ODYMEL, ensu- ring that his music remains fresh and relevant in an ever-changing industry.

A VISION OF CONNECTION

As ODYMEL reflects on his rise and the road ahead, he emphasizes that success isn’t about fame or accola- des—it’s about creating genuine connections with his audience.

“Success is just a side effect of the passion and effort I pour into my music— but it’s not the something I’m chasing. Honestly, I’d still be doing the same thing even if I had no gigs or was playing for just 10 people, like I did for nearly 13 years. It also goes beyond accola- des or big stages. For me, it’s about the happiness and connection people feel through my music. That’s what really matters.”

Looking forward, ODYMEL’s vision for his project re- mains flexible, focused on the pursuit of meaningful experiences rather than any fixed outcome.
