Funds raised at a coffee morning held at Clitheroe Commu­ nity Hospital were added to donations made by members of the public so that a bumper cheque could be presented to the Ribble Valley Macmillahioo Club.. Health care assistant Diane McCormick is pictured present­ ing Susan Fillary, the chairman of Ribble Valley Macmillan, with a cheque for £1,345, money both raised from the coffee morning and a donation for £560 from local couple Mr and


Mrs Kenneth and Gladys Snape. The couple asked for dona­ tions to Macmillan in lieu of gifts for their 65 th wedding anniversary as thanks for the care that Gladys received while a patient with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
