Visitors are being invited to see some o f the best gardens in Bolton-by-Bowland, Grindleton and Sawley from 11 am


tospm this Saturday and Sunday, July 12-I3th. This biennial event, named “Through Country Garden


Gates”, has attracted thousands of visitors in the past. Visitors are invited to look around more than 20 gardens in the three villages.


On the Sunday evening there will be a floral songs of praise service in Bolton-by-Bowland church at 6-30 pm. The village churches in both Bolton-by-Bowland and Grindleton will be open for people to view special displays and refreshments will be served along the routed There


will also be plants and flowers which flourish in the area on sale.


Entry is by special map booklet (£6 per adult), which allows entry on both days. These will be available on the


day from either church or participating gardens. All proceeds will go towards the upkeep ofthe two parish churches.
