tea is being held at the Abbeyfield Castle View
House, Clitheroe, on Saturday.
The event is in aid of Miles of Smiles and visitors are welcome from 2-30 to 4-30 pm to enjoy straw berry teas in the garden. Miles Of Smiles is a charity that provides special days of treats to children who are strug
gling with problems at home.
Castle View House offers care and support, allow ing older people to main-
tain their independent. Pharmacy manager Dawn
Watson said: “Oliveris a happy little boy and Jane absolutely loves the pharmacy and says
we bend over backwards for her.” Oliver was born with a
brain condition which affects his development and he also has epilepsy. He is on many different medications and the team have looked after his needs over the years. Jane, who runs Toby Jug
Tea Shop in Whalley, said: “We have such a good rapport with the pharmacists Mike and Mehnaz and all the team. “They knowjust what Oliv
er needs and are always there for us.
“Oliver relies on a lot of
medication from this phar macy and the staff are always so helpful. We were absolutely honoured when they asked us to perform the opening cere mony.” She added: “Oliver is do
ing really well and he attends White Ash School in Os- waldtwistle.” As part of the transforma
tion, the pharmacy in King Street now offers free, en hanced services for a range of conditions, including skin health and pain management. Thepharmacy isopen from
8-30 am to 7 pm on Monday, 8-30 am to 6 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fri day, 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
