NOTICE IS H ER EB Y GIVEN that under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County (Council propose to establish Road Humps and Bus Cushions in the Henthom Road Area Zone, Clitheroe, in the Borough of Ribble Valley.


The round top humps are to be constructed to length 3700 millimetres, maximum verb'cal upstand 75 millimetres and placed 200 millimetres from kerb edge.

The flat topped humps are to be constructed with a 50 millimetres maximum verb'cal upstand rising over 750 millimetres along a 6000 millimetres plateau, running directly from the kerb edge.


The bus cushions are to be constnicted in pairs of dimension 1700-1900 millimetres by 2500 millimetres, with a 1 in 10 gradient on entry and exit, constnicted 1000 millimetres from the kerb edge and with a maximum vertical upstand of 65 millimeb-es.


The exceptions to this are on Kemple View and Kenilworth Drive, where the dimensions are 1600 millimetres by 2500 millimetres and constnicted 900 millimetres from the kerb edge.
