A Grand piano concert season
SOME of the country's leading young pianists will he performing in the Ribble Valley in the coming months with the launch of “The Grand Piano” , a series of teatime concerts beginning next Wednesday at The Grand, Clitheroe.
Organised in conjunction with John Travis Events, piano recitals will be given by students from the celebrated Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, the first being Richard Uttley, next Wednesday, September 9th.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and the recital begins at 4-30. A two-course hot meal of the season, served immediately after the concert, is included in the ticket price of £16. The price for non-diners is £8.
Diners, who can choose between a meat of vegetarian option, must order their meal before midday on Tuesday.
