A PUBLICAN from the Ribble Valley has his sights set on the heady world of politics.- Tony Johnson (56), landlord of the
Black Bull Hotel,- Ribchester, is fed up with the way his country is run. But rather than sobbing into his beer,
Tony is 'doing something about it. He intends to stand as a candidate for Ribble Valley in the next General Elec-,

, Tony said: “The Independent Political
Alliance has been born out of frustration with the three-party political system we have been governed by for so long. “At the beginning of the 21st Century,- single issue politics will be dead and . buried soon. Choice and freedom is what
people want.” ..... ■; Far from campaigning on any single
issue, Tony holds forthright views on the full spectrum of political issues, every-, thing from the economy to the erosion of English humour. . -; ..
