Hiqhfield Road - north east side, from a point 25 metres north west of its junction with the centre line of ■ A671 Peel Street for a distance of 62 metres in a north westeriy direction.


Hiqhfield Road - south west side, from a point 14 metres north west of its junction with the centre line of A671 Peel Street for a distance of 61 metres in a north westeriy direction.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1j(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporanly prohibit any ■ motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Trough Road, Dunsop Bndge, 50 metres either side of the cattle grid at the Ribble Valley District boundary.


An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure Is via: -


Trough Road - Dunsop Road (via Whitewell) - Chipping Road (via Chipping) - Garstang Road - Fiddlers Lane - Lower Core Lane - Walker Lane - Bleasdale Lane - Delph Lane - Fell Road - Long Lane - Scorton-Marshaw Road - Marshaw Wyre and vice versa.


Access to properties will be maintained at all times. The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed. The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow cattle gnd repairs to be earned out. ;


The prohibition will be operative from 09:00 hours on Monday 6th October 2008 until 17:00 hours on Sunday 19th October 2008, or until completion of the works within this penod.
