(DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION) (NO.19) ORDER 1998


On the 11th February, 2003, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed, with modification, the above-mentioned Order. The effect of the Order, as confirmed with modification, is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the Parish of West Bradford, Ribble Valley Borough, County of Lancashire, by adding to the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way a footpath from a point on Public Footpath No. 18, West Bradford, Ribble Valley Borough, (known as Whittakers Lane), (GR. 7470 4537), in a general north-easterly direction to a point on Public Footpath No. 15, West Bradford, Ribble Valley Borough, (GR. 7479 4548), a distance of approximately 150 metres.


A copy of the Order, as confirmed, and Map contained in it, has been deposited at the offices of the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, and at my offices, where they may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours. If required, copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from my Offices.


The Order became operative on the 11th February, 2003, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 or 54 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of. Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under Paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the date of publication of the Notice, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
