sub-organist and assistant director of music at St Paul's Cathedral. Swansea-born Mr Williams will


play for the penultimate concert in the ; Clitheroe Organ Society's 41st season.


His programme will include items by Franck, Stanford, J. S. Bach and Percy


Whitlock. He has played for important nation­


al and c ivic services at St Paul's, including the National Millennium Service for England in January, 2000, the service to celebrate the Queen Mother's 100th birthday and the remembrance service for victims of the September 11th terrorists.

And, after days without rain, Monday dawned wet! It was more than we could have hoped for. Having started, we
