THE BEAUTY BOX TIPS TO ACHIEVE A SEASONAL GLOW

Professional makeup artist and beauty expert Naomi Halliday shares some of her favourite products to help you prolong that fresh, summer radiance.

As we officially head into the colder, darker, days of winter, that gorgeous summer glow may seem like a distant memory. If your complexion needs a little bit of help, you’re not alone. Check out my quick fixes below, guaranteed to bring some life back into your face.

BRIGHTEN

Gently refresh your under-eye area with MILK Makeup Sunshine Under Eye Tint + Brighten, £26. With a handy glass rollerball system for makeup on the go, the formula is packed full of nourishing ingredients such as brightening vitamin C, hydrating hyaluronic acid, plumping squalane and calming golden turmeric, to help brighten, hydrate, and reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.

This part makeup, part skin care product offers lightweight coverage with light-reflecting brightening powders to illuminate the eye area, whilst also nourishing the delicate skin.

BRONZE

For a touch of sun-kissed radiance as your natural tan starts to fade, Dr. Hauschka Translucent Bronzing

Tint (£19) adds a beautiful warm glow to every complexion. Not only does it look and smell great, it also contains skin loving nutrients including olive oil and extracts of medicinal plants such as anthyllis and witch hazel.

Simply mix it with your usual moisturiser for an effortless and completely customisable touch of bronze that expertly blends with each individual skin tone to create a naturally tanned and fresh complexion, without the need for fake tan.

GLOW For an effortlessly gleaming and fresh-faced look, sweep Nudestix Nudies Glow All Over Face Colour, £30, on the cheeks, eyes and lips. Conveniently dual-ended, this highlighter stick comes with a built-in blending brush, making it easy to blend and apply wherever you may be. The sheer, long-wearing colour can be kept light for a natural look or can be built up to intensify the colour and glow and is available in 4 gorgeous shades.

SET

SHIRO Tapioca Face Powder (Translucent), £48 is a powder like no other. It contains a relaxing essential oil blend of English garden florals which will take you back to summer in one breath. Created with a unique formula of tapioca, rice powder and silk blended with moisturising sesame, this powder creates a seamless, matte finish in the areas you need it most, helping your makeup last longer in the elements. It has fast become a favourite in my makeup artist kit and my clients always comment on the beautiful scent!
