DESIGNS TO INSPIRE

Get the look from this issue’s stand-out projects – from a cosy, multi-layered snug in a boutique hotel to a smart London drawing room

MAYFAIR MAGIC Located in the heart of Mayfair, this grand residential

project by Marie Soliman of Bergman Interiors celebrates its heritage, while giving the handsome building a fresh lease of life. To get the look, introduce contemporary furniture like the ‘Loreto’ sofa from Frato or a French glass coffee table by Paolo Moschino Ltd which reflects the light. An ‘Attenborough’ cushion in wool bouclé from de Le Cuona adds sophisticated texture, while the ‘Satara’ carpet in agate from Jacaranda Carpets & Rugs brings luxurious colour. Zoffany’s ‘Serpentine’ fabric has a marbled appearance, which complements the natural beauty of the accessories in marble and quartz from Ventura.

THE SNUG The Beaverbrook Town House in Chelsea, with interiors designed by Nicola Harding, does

not hold back on colour, cosiness or sumptuousness. Instead of a traditional check-in area, there is a small snug. To get the playful look, use the vibrant ‘Pineapples’ wallcovering by Adelphi Paper Hangings from Tissus d’Hélène and Vaughan’s red ‘Shoreham’ lamp with a tribal shade. Complete with a ‘Belgrave’ armless sofa from David Seyfried Ltd, a footstool covered in ‘Flame’ fabric by Kirkby Design at Romo and a ‘Trainor’ bar trolley from Arteriors.
