AT THE LEADING EDGE Envirograf products ensure full passive fire protection
THE HALLMARK OF EXCELLENCE Envirograf®
passive fire products carry the
hallmark of excellence, reflecting the high standards that prevail in its laboratory, test rig, and manufacturing plant. Envirograf® passive fire products are subject to rigorous quality control which, at all stages, ensures products remain at the leading edge of fire containment technology. This quality has earned the company and its passive fire products a high reputation, with its operating system being accredited to ISO9001.
CONSIDERING EVERY RISK When it comes to passive fire protection, every risk must be considered to ensure that loss of life and loss of property are kept to a minimum.
While many people are aware of the importance of fire barriers in preventing or delaying the spread of fire, they do not always consider the effects of breaching the fire barrier, perhaps to allow electrical wires or other services to pass through. That is why a range of Envirograf®
intumescent products
has been designed, to safeguard the integrity of fire barriers, whether they are ceilings, floors, roofs, or walls.

and developed more than 200 different passive fire products. Continuous innovation over the course of 40 years, and counting, allows us to remain at the leading edge of fire technology.
Our wide range of passive fire prevention products are fully fire tested and achieve BS and EN fire standards. Products are designed in compliance with Approved Documents and UK Building Regulations, ensuring full passive fire protection.

Timber substrates are susceptible to fire damage and become irreparably burnt in severe blazes. Our intumescent paint and other products are suitable for application on various wood materials, including timber, oak, bamboo, plywood, laminates and beyond. They are ideal for use on external and internal applications*

Other passive fire products in the Envirograf® range are designed to protect a structure or item so that it can maintain its structural performance in a fire (for example, load- bearing steelwork or fire doors). Choosing the correct passive fire products is essential. Seals must offer the same level of fire protection as the fire barrier they are to seal. For example, a ceiling with a fire protection rating of 60 minutes needs a passive seal with a rating of 60 minutes in order to maintain its integrity. When it comes to protecting a structural item in a building, it is vital to find out its protection rating and ensure that it maintains the load-bearing capacity in a fire. ■
