PERSONALISED, FLEXIBLE, CONVENIENT

Timber selection is a personal process, and many customers want to see, touch, and choose boards themselves. We make this possible through our bespoke appointment service.

Customers can visit us in West Sussex, where our sales team guides them through our stock and helps select boards and beams by hand. These visits are collaborative conversations, allowing us to understand each project and its requirements. For those unable to visit, our virtual appointments offer live video guidance, enabling customers to handpick timber remotely with the same care and precision. This service has been a game-changer, giving our customers the confidence to begin projects with premium, hand-selected timber, wherever they are.

Our website also makes it easy to browse,

choose, and arrange delivery anywhere in the country.

Choosing the right timber is only the beginning. Every board and beam must be prepared to the highest standards, ready for workshops, construction sites, and studios. That’s why we offer a full machining service to make projects easier, faster, and more precise. Our services include:

• Cut to size: Timber precision-cut to match your exact specifications.

• Moulding and profiling: Custom profiles crafted for joinery, furniture, or cladding.

• Planing and thicknessing: From rough sawn to smooth, ready-to-use boards.

• Wide board planning: Up to 1300mm wide for impressive tables and worktops.

• Sanding: Creating surfaces that are ready for finishing.

• Resawing: Our new service cuts beams to exact requirements, offering flexibility,

reducing waste, and delivering standard, featheredge, or bespoke cuts with precision.

In short: we do the hard work so you can focus on the finishing touches.

Our guiding principle is simple: Exceptional

Timber, Exceptional Stories. Every project we support, whether a school pavilion, a handcrafted furniture collection, or the TTJ Awards themselves, is part of a wider story of creativity, sustainability, and heritage. We believe:
