HOW CAN TECHNOLOGY


It’s been a while since coins and notes were the currency we relied on. Customers no longer scrape together loose change to pay their fare. They don’t jostle for cabs as they pull up anymore either, wave optimistically to catch the eye of a passing taxi or phone a smoke-filled cab office to book. Now, sophisticated dispatch systems have revolu- tionised the industry and user-friendly payment systems make collecting fares quick and easy. But how does this impressive technology help businesses regroup and rebuild after such a devastating year of upheaval and disruption?


INNOVATING AND REIMAGINING URBAN, SUBURBAN AND RURAL MOBILITY


Curb Mobility offers state-of-the-art solutions for taxi and PH operators. Formerly part of Verifone, Curb has been working with drivers and fleets for decades. In 1992, Curb Mobility CEO, Amos Tamam, inspired the development of the first credit card taximeter. Working with a global fleet of over 70,000 vehicles, Curb has established a market-leading position. Its presence in the UK is now in the ascendency as its latest products and services gain in popularity.
