KABBEE AND CATALINA SOFTWARE SIGN DIGITAL BOOKING PARTNERSHIP FOR EXECUTIVE CARS IN LONDON
Kabbee, the app for London’s best mini- cabs have announced a partnership with Catalina Software, a specialist in logistics solutions for London’s executive fleets. The partnership will enable automated pro- cessing of Kabbee bookings by fleets using Catalina’s logis- tics solution Freedom. “We are excited to be forming this powerful partnership with Catalina,” said Justin Peters, CEO of Kabbee. “By combin- ing the consumer ap- peal of our award-

sector is worth £5bn p.a. with approximately 40 per cent of the mar- ket in Greater London. Though large, the frag- mented market has historically meant cus- tomers have sub-stan- dard access to high quality providers while fleets face significant challenges to grow outside their traditional areas. The partnership with Catalina means that once a passenger makes their booking on the Kabbee app or website, the journey will be electronically ‘dropped’ into Free- dom and then sent to
the closest available driver’s Android or iOS mobile device. This eliminates any poten- tial risk of human error, speeds up the process and means that the driver wastes less time and fuel finding an ad- dress. Passengers will benefit from reduced lead times and richer data from a wider choice of fleets. The ability for passengers to track the movement of their car is available in black taxi apps and has been a critical fea- ture in their success. Kabbee will now also offer this functionality
for fleets using Free- dom in addition to the other despatch pro- viders it has integrated with.
