Make the most of Members’ Fest and find out what more CILIP has to offer
CILIP’S Members’ Fest is returning to the calendar in Spring 2026, helping to deliver a bright start to the new year. The week-long event, taking place from 2 to 6 March 2026, is your chance to find out more about the work and activities taking place across CILIP’s Member Networks and Special Interest Groups. Here we take a look at what to expect and find out more about some of CILIP’s groups.
LAST year’s inaugural Members’ Fest proved to be a big success, with more than 1,000 people attending one of the events put on throughout the week. With a range of in-person and online activities there was a chance to learn, network and discover new things about CILIP. The aim is to help members make the most of CILIP’s broad community.
CILIP’s Events and Awards Manager Louise Greener said: “Acting as a kind of CILIP Freshers’ Fair, the event is designed to introduce members to the work of the many incredible Special Interest Groups, regional and member networks across CILIP and to make the most of CILIP membership.” Following feedback from members and CILIP’s Special Interest Groups and Networks, Members’ Fest has been moved to spring. The move in the schedule is designed to make it as inclusive as possi- ble to all sectors and members.
Last year’s Members’ Fest featured 25 online and in-person sessions, many of which were open to both members and non-members. Members’ Fest 2026 will also be open to non-members who are keen to find out more about CILIP and what it can offer, and CILIP members can help to publicise it to colleagues who might be interested in attending. As well as sessions from CILIP’s networks, there
will also be events organised by CILIP staff. Louise Greener said: “You can expect online sessions

“From CILIP HQ, we’ll be introducing our new five-year strategy; running a special Apprenticeships session to demystify the EPA process; and offering members a chance to connect with (and get involved with) the Research & Development work that we do. “And once again, our excellent regional networks will be hosting some in-person regional meet-ups to facilitate informal networking and community fun.” Sign up now for updates on sessions as they are added to the programme, ensuring you don’t miss out when Members’ Fest takes place.
