Illva Saronno Holding has converted part of its production facilities to manufacture anti-bacterial hand gel. The company has turned 100,000
small bottles (50ml) of its popular Disaronno brand into hand sanitiser pocket packs, which have been donated to the not-for-profit Banco Farmaceutico Foundation. Both parties will distribute the
products to 10 charities throughout Italy that provide treatment and medicines to vulnerable people. These include Caritas of Rome,

Mondelez and 3P partner to produce medical visors for NHS staff
Mondelēz International has joined forces with engineering company 3P innovation to assist with the daily production of thousands of medical visors to protect front line NHS staff. The food manufacturer, which is
donating $15m in financial aid and in-kind support to community partners amid the Covid-19 crisis, is repurposing its 3D printing technology to help print the visors. Normally, the technology is used to make chocolate sculptures at Cadbury’s Bournville factory. Mondelēz is assisting with the
production of the hard-plastic bands, which connect the top and bottom of the visors. It is also investing money into the project, so 3P can purchase injection mould technology, which will enable the visors to be mass produced. Louise Stigant, UK Managing Director,
