The Kendal Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Rock as Director of Pro- curement. In this role, Dan will develop and im- plement a strategic busi-
ness plan to support Kendal affiliates’ group purchasing nationwide. Dan brings with him an extensive background in supply chain management and operations. He previously served as Purchasing Director for Hodell-Nat- co Industries, overseeing all procurement and inventory operations while managing $30 million in spending with 4,000 suppliers, in- cluding 60 international companies in seven countries. Prior to that, he was with the In- stitute for Transfusion Medicine, a not-for- profit medical blood transfusion company, serving as the Executive Director of Purchas- ing, Operations and Transportation, where he managed all material and transportation functions.
AGUSTIN SAMANIEGO
The Village at Rancho Solano, is happy to wel- come Agustin Samaniego as their new Executive Director. As the Execu- tive Director, Agustin manages the day-to-day
operations of the community, as well as its staff. Agustin has been working in assisted living and memory care since 2008. He start- ed as a business office manager at Brookdale Senior Living and later became Executive Director. “I greatly enjoyed the wealth of knowledge that seniors have shared with me about life and their experiences,” shares Agustin. “For this reason, I decided to con- tinue in this field.” He eventually obtained his administrator’s license soon after entering the senior living field. Prior to senior living, Agustin worked in real estate and the hotel industry, providing him the expertise neces- sary to navigate senior living, which is both a hospitality and healthcare-related industry.
