Representative Stephanie Bice (R-OK) visited the John H. Johnson Senior Apartments, a Priority Life Care community located in northern Oklahoma City. Representative Bice serves on the House Appropriations Committee and has been a strong voice for long-term care issues, including as an advocate for the Veterans assisted living pilot program in the last session of Congress.


(left, right) U.S. Representative Bill Foster (D-IL) visited Heritage Woods of Batavia, a Gardant-managed affordable assisted living community in northeastern Illinois. They discussed several workforce issues, including staffing challenges, concerns with proposed CMS staffing mandates, and targeted immigration reform to bring in nurses from foreign countries.
