2021 RECAP:

SENIOR LIVING EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE & EXPO

THE OFFICIAL MEETING OF ARGENTUM

At the beginning of 2021’s conference, it was exciting enough just to be meeting in real life. But soon enough, attendees were engaged in deep conversations and engrossing mainstage events focusing both on the profoundly challenging time of the pandemic and the vital transformations ahead for the senior living industry. Following vaccine, testing, and mask rules for the different environments, senior living professionals learned, laughed, shared best practices, and tried out cutting-edge industry products and services, leaving with a strong foundation and inspiration for the future.

“COVID-19 has shown that the industry is largely misunderstood, and federal regulation would almost certainly be misguided…The issue is us—our burden and need to become better, stronger advocates and educators about what occurs and should occur in senior living.”

—Pat Mulloy, Board Chairman

“In order to reshape and refocus much of the misunderstood dialogue around senior living during the pandemic, it was essential for us, and our valued state partners, to continue meeting with decision-makers and influencers on Capitol Hill and in state capitals, to explain who the industry serves, who makes up the senior living workforce, and why relief and resources were so critically needed.”

—James Balda President & CEO
