About the New Executive Director of Assisted Living Certificate Course The Executive Director of Assisted Living Certificate Course is developed for indi- viduals seeking a career leading assisted living communities, including current and aspiring executive directors. The course provides an introduction to topics that have been identified as essential to the job of an executive director. This comprehensive course is broken
down into 16 modules, covering the eight knowledge domains identified in the Job Task Analysis for Assisted Living Commu- nity Executive Directors, as well as other pertinent topics (e.g., infection prevention and control). Learners will benefit from best practices described throughout the course, as well as opportunities to think through their current community operations, poli- cies, and procedures. This course provides learners with an opportunity to expand their understanding of assisted living and to fill in learning gaps. Learning objectives are provided for each
module to help focus learners on expected outcomes. Learners receive a certificate (PDF format) upon passing the final quiz, desig- nating successful completion of the course.
About the Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) Program The Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) program is one avenue your ex- ecutive directors can take to earn desired credentials and distinction. The program was developed by practicing subject matter experts in senior living and is based on the unique knowledge and skills required by the executive director, as identified through an extensive job analysis. Certification demonstrates attainment
of consistent, relevant, measurable and industry-recognized standards of practice in the assisted living executive director role. Certification means the individual is competent – able to do the job safely and effectively. The CDAL examination provides a

About the Senior Living Sales Counselor Certificate A – B – C = Always Be Closing! This program covers the basics so sales associates may focus their onboarding efforts on skills development, in depth sales execution, case studies, and competitive differentiators. The Sales Counselor Certificate Program
consists of a course and a test. The course contains an estimated three to four hours of self-paced learning, which users have up to eight weeks to complete. After completing the course, users can take the online test consisting of 60 multiple choice questions. Users must correctly answer at least 43 test questions to pass and upon doing so, receive a certificate of completion in PDF format.
