3 Guilt-free sparkle
From glitter tattoos and face-painting to Christmas crafts and events, there’s plenty of opportunity for a little sparkle when it comes to PTA fundraising, so why not consider an easy swap to a more eco-friendly option? Most glitters are made from micro-plastics, which are harmful to the environment and can take 1,000 years to fully degrade. Glitter from Eco Stardust, available in a range of colours and textures, is made from plant cellulose, which breaks down quickly and is non-toxic. Eco Glitter Fun also has a great selection of colours and its glitter is made from a certified compostable film that will biodegrade in soil, compost or a waste water/ocean environment.

4 Gardening tools
Getting active outdoors is essential for children and gardening is a great activity to support physical, emotional and social development. Create a solid foundation of healthy eating by getting pupils to grow and harvest their own fruit and vegetables or consider planting scented, colourful blooms for a wonderful sensory garden. Choosing tools that are perfectly sized for children will empower your small gardeners to feel capable in every task and will also encourage motor skill development. An inventory of gloves, rakes and brooms will have children ready to muck in, year-round and in all weathers, for ongoing maintenance and care of your garden too.
