Theatre Workshop – Calamity Climate


Change Supporting the national curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2, Calamity Climate Change is an inspiring performance-based workshop which aims to get pupils hooked on helping the planet. Theatre Workshop provides a pop-up dramatic experience in your hall, complete with scenery, costumes and music. VSTEAM Education – Renewable Energy Delivered by qualified aerospace/mechanical engineers, this


workshop includes two practical activities: constructing a windmill to power an LED, and a creative challenge to build a wing blade that will generate the power required. Pupils will also learn about all types of renewable energy, the mechanics of a generator, kinetic and gravitational potential energy, and how renewable energy can contribute to resolving the climate change crisis. Eco-Active: Environmental Advocacy This London-based environmental education charity uses


hands-on learning to connect children to nature and encourage advocacy. Workshops can be adapted for all key stages, such as engaging older students to think critically about sustainability and climate change. Sessions include practical activities, group work and discussion.
