Established in 1995, the North West Aerospace Alliance is part of the Aerospace and Defence Federation and one of a number of regional alliances across the UK. With over 140 members, the key purpose of the NWAA is to enable sustainability, growth and competitiveness for the North West aerospace and defence industry by working with our members, partners and government.
Our achievements
Over the last 18 months, in conjunction with the Lancashire County Council, the NWAA has been leading a programme known as Watchtower, which is providing support to companies in the areas of innovation and diversification. Free events that focus on topics, such as environmental, social and governance have also been provided.
Future activities are focusing on decarbonisation and digital transformation, involving the automotive, nuclear, transport and space sectors.
