2023 marks 10 years since the launch of Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub.
It’s been a decade of success.
10 years of starting businesses, growing businesses, developing leaders, creating jobs and driving the Lancashire economy.
One of the many magic ingredients of Boost is partnership.
Our partnership includes the public sector, our brilliant private sector delivery organisations, entrepreneurs and business leaders, our world leading universities and research institutions, membership bodies and true experts who have been at the forefront of helping Lancashire businesses.
The evidence of Boost’s support for Lancashire businesses speaks for itself. It has supported over 14,000 businesses, helped create over 3,500 jobs while adding over £100m to the economy.
The impact of Boost over the last decade has been so much more.
In recent years, our Growth Hub has stood side by side with Lancashire’s business owners and leaders through some of the most challenging times they will ever face.
It helped the business community through the impact of Covid-19 with its award winning #AskForHelp campaign and awarded over £1.1m of grants to Lancashire SMEs.
It supported Lancashire businesses during Brexit by providing tailored advice for businesses to adapt to the changing environment.
And it’s championed Lancashire’s female business leaders through a variety of initiatives and campaigns.
Whether you’re a person in business who has utilised Boost to start and grow a business, a partner organisation that has delivered advice or one of our many loyal supporters, you have helped to make Boost what it is today; a vibrant, entrepreneurial and impactful Growth Hub. Thank you!
