Trade counter gets a 2020 facelift
It’s fair to say that 2020 has been a year of reacting and adapting for most of the world, and where possible trying to make the best of what has been quite honestly a terrible global situation. And that’s precisely the approach that Scanprobe have taken.Wehave made countless changes and updates to the business protocols and premises, to ensure that business could, not only just continue but look to come out of this in a stronger position for the future. A huge part of this was assessing our customer interaction points, which encompassed in no small part our Trade Counter, which hadn’t seen a full refresh in quite some time.
“We realised early on into the emergence of Covid-19 that we as a business needed to make some changes in order to best protect our staff and our customers. By nature we are a very personal company; our customers have a great working relationship with the guys and girls in our team, and I didn't want us to lose that. But at the same time, safety had to come first. So this was a perfect time to give the Trade Counter a fresh new look.”
Jon Barry, Managing Director & Owner, Scanprobe Techniques & Renoline
Taking safety into account primarily, the Trade Counter has been fitted with surface-to-ceiling height, clear Perspex screens, and behind a chain-link cordon is a product demonstration area. Here we have the full range of Scanprobe drain camera systems, the collection of Renoline air inversion drums & also the increasingly popular Fixer-10 drain cleaning machine from Fixaline, accompanied by our large selection of chain knockers and tools.
“What was key for me for this Trade Counter upgrade was giving a solid platform to showcase our products on. In Scanprobe and Renoline combined we have an amazing product range, and I want our visitors to be able to see it for themselves. When our customers visit, I want them to have the opportunity to discover something new, or pick up something that they didn't previously know they could get from us. Our chain-knockers for example; having these on display next to the Fixer-10 is a great conversation starter, and our customers can't believe the cost savings they can get on both of
these products compared to others in the market. Sales have really been boosted, in part to having this platform for conversation and demonstration.”
Andrew Booth, Operations Manager, Scanprobe Techniques & Renoline
The Trade Counter facelift has also given a boost to our staff, who are also seeing the benefits of a new lick of paint.
“I really like it; compared to how it was before this is a fantastic revamp. For me it gives me that extra bit of confidence, and also pride in the company. A bit like when we released our first ever billboard advert a couple of months ago. It shows progress, and it's nice when our customers who have been coming to us for years comment on how great it looks, or even just watch the videos in the Trade Counter.”
Wendy Leader, Trade Counter Operative, Scanprobe Techniques & Renoline
And progress continues to be key for us at Scanprobe & Renoline. Through recent product innovations such as the TrapJumper and mina Survey, new product collaborations with Fixaline, new and more thorough ISO accreditations, we continue to look to the future. So, whilst we haven't been able to attend our usual range of trade shows or visit existing and potential distribution partners, the cogs of the business have not slowed. Far from it...
