John Torode, Celebrity Chef

Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix

Located in the Arabian Gulf, the Kingdom of Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands, the only island country in the Middle East. 4,500 years ago, it was the capital of the ancient Dilmun civilisation. Today, Bahrain’s attractions extend to two UNESCO World Heritage sites, pristine white sand beaches, a thriving restaurant culture, and the exciting annual Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit.

This year, two very special guests also join the stand to share their Bahrain stories. Catch celebrity chef, John Torode, on Tuesday 6th 12pm-1pm talking about his personal experiences of Bahraini cuisine. Cycling fans can also head to the stand on Wednesday 7th 2:30pm-3:30pm for the chance to meet and greet with star of the Bahrain Merida cycling team and 2014 Tour de France champion, Vincenzo Nibali.
